“Prior to joining this class, I was not confident to speak nor to write in English. However, after joining this class, I find myself feeling more confident in speaking English. Not only that, I signed up as a speaker for a World Conference On Exercise Medicine recently where I presented my talk in front of hundreds of medical experts from all over the world, in English. I was very nervous but the English lessons helped. The talk went well and in fact, I signed up to be a speaker for another world conference in Hungary, Europe! Meanwhile, at the clinic, I find myself ordering medical supplies and talking to the supplier on phone in English. This is so unlike me before where I would only talk to the supplier in Malay. As for writing, I now write longer patient reports.”
