My name is Datuk Radin Sallehuddin bin Radin Abdul Rahman, but people call me DR.
This is not my first time joining English class.
I had experience before with two other classes (at other centres).
Most of the classes I attended, they concentrate more on English grammar.
I thought by learning English grammar, I could speak good English but basically, it’s not (true).
One thing that I learnt from Brican, we should focus on English conversations first. So when we started with English conversations, then the grammar will come easily.
If we start with English grammar first; we cannot speak.
Although I attended two courses before, I still could not speak English.
Brican helped us to have some sort of motivation and…. Now I can speak English 🙂
Brican created an environment or community whereby most of us come here to speak in English. Brican successfully created that environment.
There is a rule whereby we cannot speak in Malay. That worked. I think that is very good.
Although most of my friends in Brican are Malays, but we speak in English.
We don’t laugh at each other; whether their grammar is good or not.
I think for the final class, everybody can speak good English!
Congratulations to Brican for giving us the opportunity to finally make us able to speak in English!
